| 설명 | 얼굴, 특히 눈 밑이나 이마에 발생하는 갈색의 색소 침착 현상. 1~수cm에 이르는 갈색반점이 뺨, 관자놀이, 이마에 나타나는 상태, 갱년기에도 나타나지만 경구피임제를 사용하고 있는 사람에게서 가장 흔히 볼 수 있다. 때때로 이같은 인자가 없이도 일어나며 드물게 남성에서도 볼 수 있다. 햇볕 노출부에 발생하며 주로 표피형, 진피형, 복합형의 세 가지 형태가 있다. 표피형은 표피의 멜라닌 색소의 증가에 의한 것이며, 진피형은 진피 내의 색소 세포가 증가되어 나타난 것이다. 원인은 아직 확실하게 규명되지 않았으나 임신 및 피임약 장기 복용시, 갑상샘의 기능 이상시, 난소 종양 등 자궁에 병이 있을 때, 강한 자외선 노출시, 습관적인 음주 및 흡연시에 발생할 수 있다. 자외선 차단제의 사용이 치료 및 예방에 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 치료 약제로는 미백제인 히드로퀴논과 레티노산(retinoic acid)등의 피부 복합 제재가 주로 사용되며 레이저나 박피술을 이용한 치료법이 사용되기도 한다. 표피형의 기미는 치료에 대한 반응이 좋으나 진피형 및 복합형은 치료가 어렵다. 또한 증상이 좋아졌다가도 재발되어 악화될 수 있으므로 꾸준히 치료해야 한다. |
