A program that is a compiler that parses formal metadata, and generates output suitable for viewing with a web browser or text editor. The planning of production (usually End Item Production) to satisfy current and forecast orders. The sum of all Family MPS items must equal the agreed Sales and Operations Plan for that Family over each planning period (normally a month or 4 week period). The MPS report includes an Available to Promise figure to enable realistic, achievable delivery promises to be made to customers.
