ramus pubicus arteriae epigastricae inferioris
<anatomy, artery> Branch arising from the inferior epigastric artery medial to the deep inguinal ring; runs medial to femoral ring onto posterior pubis; anastomosis, pubic branch of obturator artery. This anastomosis is frequently large, referred to as an "accessory obturator artery." In 20-30%, this anastomosis replaces the obturator artery, as an "aberrant" or "replaced" obturator artery.
